Account details: your name, email address, and mobile number. You may also register or sign in using Google Sign-In or Facebook Login

Profile details (optional): age, gender, marital status, and employment status, if you choose to complete your profile

Pickup details: your address and the waste categories you schedule

Location data: your device location to assign the nearest available Agent and to show live pickup tracking

Usage data: app activity such as quizzes played, coins earned, and bookings made

Device data: device type and push notification token, used to deliver notifications through our push notification service

How we use your information

To schedule pickups and assign the nearest verified Agent

To calculate and credit KarmaCoins XP for verified waste

To operate the quiz, referral, and rewards programs

To send booking updates, quiz reminders, and offers via push notifications

To improve the app, prevent fraud, and provide customer support

Location data

Location is used solely to match you with the nearest available Agent and to show pickup tracking

It is not shared with third parties for advertising

You can disable location access in your device settings, though this may limit pickup features

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties

We share only what is needed with assigned Agents (such as your address) to complete a pickup

We may share data with service providers who help operate the platform, under confidentiality obligations

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users

KarmaCoins XP — virtual currency

KarmaCoins XP are virtual points with no monetary value outside the platform

Your coin balance and transaction history are stored to operate your wallet

We may adjust coins in cases of fraud, abuse, or system errors as described in our terms

Data storage & security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data

Data is stored on secured servers with restricted access

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security

Your rights

You can access and update your profile information in the app

You can delete your account at any time; associated data is then permanently erased

You can disable push notifications and location access from your device settings

Children’s privacy

The service is not intended for children under 13

Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn we have, we will delete it

Third-party services

We use Google Sign-In for optional account login/registration

We use Mappls (MapmyIndia) for maps, address search, and location services

We use our app platform’s push notification service to deliver notifications (relayed via Google’s and Apple’s underlying push infrastructure)

These providers process limited data under their own privacy policies

Compliance with Indian data protection law

We process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable rules made thereunder, and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011

Where required by law, we obtain your explicit consent before collecting or processing personal data. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us or deleting your account, subject to data we are legally required to retain

You have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data, to know the purposes for which it is processed, and to file a grievance with our Grievance Officer or, where applicable, the Data Protection Board of India

You may nominate another individual to exercise your rights under the DPDP Act on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity, by writing to us

Data retention

We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account remains active

Upon account deletion, we erase your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records (e.g., transaction logs, fraud or dispute records) for longer to comply with law or resolve disputes — such data is retained only for the minimum period necessary and then deleted

Aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you may be retained for analytics and service improvement

Sensitive personal data

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data such as health information, biometric data, sexual orientation, or religious or political beliefs

If you believe any part of the app requests such information without a clear, lawful purpose and your explicit, informed consent, please contact us immediately so we can review and remove it

Grievance OfficerIn accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, rules made thereunder, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, grievances regarding this policy may be directed to our Grievance Officer at the contact details below. We will acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days, as required by law.Changes to this policy
